Jean-Baptiste is a new educator in PRH-RDCongo in Kinshasa. He talks to us about his work and what motivates him.
My name is Jean-Baptiste and I’m a new PRH-RDC trainer in Kinshasa. I am 36 years old, married to Pélagie, father of a family and we have 4 daughters aged between 11 and 6 months.
It is with joy, pride and gratitude that I would like to say a big thank you to the André Rochais International Association for its invaluable financial support over several years of my PRH training, i.e. from 2015 to the present day. When I started PRH, I felt this vocation within me, that PRH was part of me, but I felt prevented from doing so by the lack of money and the economic difficulties in my country. I was unable to pay for the workshops, my personal training and accompaniment. It was with the help of IAAR that I was able to embark on this path of change and great discovery. I feel proud to be a young PRH /CONGO educator for my personal development, and that of my people. My focus is on what’s essential:
– Helping the people of my country to stand on their own two feet and find their own identity;
– Helping them to discover their richness and potential and to live from that.
Today, the financial support I have received is not only beneficial for me, but also for my country, which needs this change, and it has helped me to rediscover my true mission. With PRH I feel at ease, even though there are still difficulties in my country. I hope that everything will work out in a few years’ time. I am and will remain truly grateful for your support. With your help I have rediscovered the clarity that has been in me since I was a child. When I began PRH education, I knew that it would enable me to make progress in my human growth, starting from my very being.
As a young educator, I want to contribute to the progress of my country and its future. I have grown as a person. In PRH I have found my raison d’être.
