This year, we celebrate IAAR’s 20th anniversary with deep gratitude.
For twenty years, IAAR has supported people in different countries to take charge of their lives, grow in confidence, and actively contribute to their communities.
What We Have Achieved Together
What once began on a small scale has grown into a network of commitment, creativity, and solidarity. We are especially grateful to all PRH professionals, volunteers, donors, and communities who open their homes or premises to make training activities possible.
Thanks to this solidarity, IAAR has been able to support training programs in around fifteen countries across Latin America, Africa, and Southeast Asia, always with the aim of fostering local self-reliance. In addition, training projects have been developed for groups with limited financial resources.
Growth in People and Communities
Over the years, we have witnessed people and communities grow:
- young people discovered and developed their talents;
- communities became stronger through improved cooperation;
- leaders chose respectful relationships and open dialogue with their colleagues and staff;
- adults found resilience during periods of loss, adversity, or illness;
- teachers regained courage, inspiration, and creativity in their work;
- people built self-confidence and became more grounded in life;
- couples overcame difficulties and learned new ways of communicating;
- participants were trained as professionals or volunteers, enabling them to support others and strengthen local self-reliance.
IAAR also supported projects that continue to promote the life and work of André Rochais, founder of PRH. We contributed to publications and helped finance the four-yearly congresses of PRH International.
Every contribution, large or small, has helped make this possible. Together, we are building a world where people can become more fully themselves and develop their best potential.
Behind the Scenes: Volunteers with a Mission
IAAR relies entirely on the commitment of dedicated volunteers. We meet regularly to:
- share experiences;
- develop new initiatives;
- further strengthen our activities.
The commitment of many people, often expressed with simplicity and humility, makes this story possible.
Today and Tomorrow
Today, IAAR continues to support projects that help people grow and connect with one another, including:
- training and personal development;
- social and educational initiatives;
- creative projects that bring people together.
With twenty years of experience as a solid foundation, we look to the future with confidence, inspired by the enthusiasm of everyone who helps shape IAAR.
Building the Future Together
Would you like to continue supporting IAAR? You can do so in several ways:
- by sharing information about our work;
- by staying involved in our activities;
- by making a financial contribution.
Every form of support helps carry this commitment forward.
Thank You
To everyone who helps make IAAR possible—volunteers, partners, friends, and supporters—we extend our heartfelt thanks for twenty years of trust, commitment, and support.
Together, we continue building a world where people can grow, in connection with themselves, with others, and with their communities.
